The Pet Transport Network
THE PET TRANSPORT NETWORK
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
Operated by: The Pet Transport Network, LLC

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of The Pet Transport Network website, platform, applications, services, resources, and related features ("TPTN" or the "Platform").
By creating an account, submitting or responding to a transportation request, accepting a booking, using TPTN resources, or otherwise accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and any policies incorporated into them by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Platform.

1. ABOUT THE PET TRANSPORT NETWORK
The Pet Transport Network is a technology-based marketplace and resource platform designed to connect pet parents, businesses, corporate clients, and other persons seeking pet transportation services with independent pet transportation providers.
TPTN provides technology, administrative tools, educational resources, communication features, and other services intended to assist users in locating, evaluating, communicating with, and conducting business with independent transportation providers. TPTN is a neutral software platform connecting pet parents directly with independent, professional drivers. We provide the technology to facilitate connections, but we do not arrange, manage, or execute pet transport.
TPTN does not itself transport pets.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, TPTN is not the motor carrier, freight broker, pet transport provider, employer, partner, joint venturer, or agent of any transportation provider using the Platform.
The transportation agreement for any pet transport is formed directly between the independent transportation provider and the pet parent or other customer, and TPTN is not a party to that agreement. TPTN's sole role is to facilitate the connection between transportation providers and pet parents and to facilitate and process payment through the Platform. TPTN is not the transportation provider, and TPTN is not the employer or agent of any transportation provider or driver.
Transportation services are performed by independent transportation providers operating their own businesses and assuming responsibility for their own transportation operations.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or similar relationship between TPTN and an independent transportation provider.

2. TPTN'S ROLE
TPTN provides a Platform through which customers may locate and review transportation providers and request pet transportation services.
Customers select the transportation provider they wish to work with. TPTN does not require customers to select the lowest-priced provider and does not operate the Platform as a traditional bidding board.
Transportation providers may review eligible transportation requests and provide estimates based upon their own pricing, availability, service area, vehicle capacity, scheduling, operating practices, experience, and business policies.
The transportation provider is responsible for determining whether a requested transport can be safely, legally, and appropriately performed.
Except for standards required as conditions of Platform participation, TPTN does not control the transportation provider's:
   • Route;
   • Driving decisions;
   • Daily operating schedule;
   • Rest periods;
   • Vehicle operation;
   • Staffing;
   • Pet-care decisions;
   • Fuel or lodging stops;
   • Weather-related decisions;
   • Mechanical decisions; or
   • Other day-to-day transportation operations.
TPTN may establish eligibility requirements, documentation requirements, safety-related Platform standards, training requirements, and rules of conduct as conditions of accessing or remaining on the Platform.
Such requirements do not create an employment or agency relationship between TPTN and an independent transportation provider.
TPTN may provide administrative, technological, communication, educational, payment-support, emergency-resource, scheduling, and recordkeeping tools. Providing those tools does not transfer responsibility for transportation services from the transportation provider to TPTN.

3. USERS OF THE PLATFORM
TPTN may provide access to several categories of users, including:
   • Pet parents and other individual customers seeking transportation for a pet;
   • Independent pet transportation providers;
   • Pet transportation companies and their authorized team members;
   • Corporate or commercial clients;
   • Pet-industry professionals and organizations; and
   • Other users authorized by TPTN.
Users must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements and must provide accurate and current information when creating or maintaining an account.
Users may not impersonate another person or business, create an account using materially false information, or permit an unauthorized person to use their account.

Company and Team Accounts
A company may authorize employees, contractors, or other approved team members to access its TPTN account.
The company is responsible for controlling who is authorized to use its account and for promptly removing access when a team member is no longer authorized.
TPTN may maintain records identifying the team member who created, modified, communicated about, or otherwise handled a transportation request, reservation, customer record, or related activity.
Each person using a company account must use their own authorized access credentials when individual credentials are provided.
Account credentials should not be shared.

4. TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS, ESTIMATES, AND BOOKINGS
Submitting a transportation request does not guarantee that transportation will be available.
A transportation request may include information such as:
   • Pickup and delivery locations;
   • Estimated or requested travel dates;
   • Number and type of pets;
   • Breed, age, size, and other pet information;
   • Behavioral or medical considerations;
   • Requested transportation type;
   • Customer contact information; and
   • Other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the requested transport.
Dates supplied during the request process may represent requested or estimated travel windows and should not be interpreted as guaranteed pickup or delivery dates unless expressly confirmed by the selected transportation provider.
Transportation providers determine whether they are available and able to perform a requested transport.
An estimate is not a confirmed reservation unless and until all applicable confirmation requirements have been completed.
Confirmation requirements may include:
   • Acceptance of the provider's estimate;
   • Completion of required documents;
   • Payment of applicable fees;
   • Completion of reservation information;
   • Provider confirmation; and
   • Other requirements displayed through the Platform.
For shared transportation, pickup and delivery arrangements may involve estimated windows rather than exact times.
Routes, weather, traffic, pet-care requirements, mechanical issues, emergencies, regulatory requirements, and other circumstances may affect actual timing.
Final transportation dates and estimated delivery windows should be confirmed by the transportation provider as part of the reservation process.

5. INDEPENDENT TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS
Transportation providers using TPTN operate independently and are responsible for their own businesses.
Each transportation provider is responsible for maintaining all licenses, registrations, permits, certifications, insurance, vehicle documentation, and other qualifications legally required for that provider's operations. When applicable, and permitted, TPTN will be named as an Additional Insured on transportation provider's policy, and transportation provider will be required to provide current proof of coverage and any applicable endorsement.
Providers are responsible for determining which federal, state, local, and other legal or regulatory requirements apply to them.
Each provider is also responsible for:
   • Maintaining a safe and suitable transportation vehicle;
   • Ensuring drivers are legally qualified to operate the vehicle being used;
   • Maintaining required and appropriate insurance;
   • Complying with applicable animal-care and transportation requirements;
   • Determining safe driving schedules and appropriate rest periods;
   • Determining whether weather, road conditions, pet health, vehicle condition, or other circumstances require a delay or change in plans;
   • Safely securing animals during transportation;
   • Maintaining appropriate client and pet records;
   • Obtaining required transportation paperwork;
   • Establishing and communicating the provider's own transportation policies where permitted by TPTN;
   • Providing accurate information in the provider's TPTN profile; and
   • Promptly informing TPTN of material changes to qualifications or information used to determine Platform eligibility.
TPTN may request documentation relating to a provider's qualifications and may suspend or restrict Platform access if required documentation expires, cannot be verified, or no longer meets TPTN eligibility requirements.
TPTN may also require identity verification, background screening, motor vehicle record review, license verification, insurance verification, reference checks, or other eligibility screening. Separate notices, disclosures, authorizations, or third-party terms may apply to those services.
Verification by TPTN means only that TPTN completed the verification process identified by the Platform at the time of review.
Verification is not a guarantee of a provider's future conduct, performance, safety, financial condition, availability, or suitability for a particular transport.
Transportation providers remain responsible for determining whether they can safely and appropriately accept and complete each transportation request.

6. PET PARENT AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers requesting transportation must provide complete and materially accurate information concerning each pet and the requested transportation.
Customers are responsible for disclosing information that could reasonably affect the provider's ability to safely transport or care for the pet, including when applicable:
   • Species and breed;
   • Age;
   • Approximate weight and size;
   • Behavioral concerns;
   • Bite or aggression history;
   • Escape or flight risk;
   • Anxiety or fear-related behavior;
   • Medical conditions;
   • Recent illness or injury;
   • Mobility limitations;
   • Medications;
   • Feeding requirements;
   • Allergies;
   • Special handling requirements; and
   • Any other information reasonably relevant to safe transportation.
Customers are responsible for providing required documentation and ensuring that information supplied on transportation forms is accurate.
Customers must disclose known behavioral or medical information before transportation begins rather than waiting until after the pet has been accepted for transport.
TPTN and transportation providers may rely upon information supplied by the customer when evaluating a transport.
A customer's failure to disclose material information may result in delay, additional charges by the provider, refusal of transportation, termination of the transport where reasonably necessary for safety, account restrictions, or other action permitted under the provider's agreement or these Terms.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that an authorized adult is available for pickup and delivery as required by the transportation provider.

7. PET HEALTH, MEDICATION, FOOD, AND PERSONAL ITEMS
The transportation provider's own service agreement, emergency-care documentation, medication documentation, and other transportation forms govern the specific care arrangements between the customer and provider.
TPTN does not diagnose animals, prescribe treatment, practice veterinary medicine, or make veterinary treatment decisions.
Customers must accurately identify medications supplied for transportation and follow any documentation requirements established by the transportation provider.
Where required by the transportation provider, prescription medications must be supplied in appropriately labeled original prescription containers.
Customers are responsible for providing food and other required supplies in accordance with the provider's policies and applicable transportation requirements.
Transportation providers may establish reasonable limits regarding personal belongings or supplies that may accompany a pet due to vehicle capacity and safety considerations.
A transportation provider may refuse to accept an item that the provider reasonably believes is unsafe, unsanitary, unhealthy, prohibited, unlawful, or unsuitable for transport.
Responsibility for damage to or loss of nonessential personal items accompanying a pet will be governed by the transportation provider's contract and applicable law.

8. CORPORATE AND COMMERCIAL CLIENTS
Corporate and commercial users may request transportation on behalf of customers, employees, relocation clients, organizations, pet owners, or other authorized parties.
A corporate user represents that it has authority to submit the information and transportation request provided through the Platform.
Corporate users are responsible for:
   • Providing accurate transportation and pet information;
   • Maintaining appropriate authorization to submit client information;
   • Ensuring that authorized team members use the Platform appropriately;
   • Identifying the appropriate customer or responsible party;
   • Promptly correcting inaccurate information;
   • Complying with applicable payment obligations; and
   • Maintaining any independent records required for their business.
TPTN may record which authorized company team member handled a client, request, communication, reservation, or related activity.
Corporate access does not make TPTN responsible for the corporate client's relationship with its customer or for representations made by the corporate client outside the Platform.

9. TRANSPORTATION PROVIDER PROFILES
Provider profiles may contain information supplied by the provider as well as information verified or categorized by TPTN.
Profile information may include such items as:
   • Service areas;
   • Types of pets transported;
   • Private or shared transportation options;
   • Vehicle information;
   • Experience;
   • Training or certifications;
   • Insurance information;
   • Special handling experience;
   • Business policies;
   • Environmental or vehicle disclosures;
   • Availability; and
   • Other service characteristics.
Providers must keep profile information materially accurate and current.
Customers are responsible for reviewing provider information and selecting the provider they believe is appropriate for their needs.
TPTN may display verification indicators, eligibility status, completed requirements, or similar information. Such indicators reflect Platform records at a particular point in time and are not warranties or guarantees.

10. FEES, CHARGES, AND PAYMENTS
TPTN may charge customers, transportation providers, corporate users, or other users Platform fees, administrative fees, service fees, transaction fees, membership or subscription fees, or other charges disclosed before the applicable transaction or service is completed.
TPTN may change its fee structure prospectively by providing notice through the Platform or applicable fee schedule.
Fees applicable to an already-confirmed transaction will be governed by the terms disclosed for that transaction.
Transportation charges for the actual transportation service are separate from TPTN's Platform or administrative fees unless the Platform expressly states otherwise. The transportation portion is owed to the independent transportation provider under the separate agreement between the provider and the customer.
When TPTN offers payment processing, a customer may make one payment through Stripe. Stripe and Stripe Connect process the transaction and route the applicable transportation portion to the transportation provider's connected Stripe account while routing or retaining the applicable TPTN Platform fees. TPTN does not hold transportation funds in escrow and does not take custody of the transportation provider's transportation portion.
TPTN may receive the Platform fees and other charges owed directly to TPTN.
Use of Stripe, Stripe Connect, or another payment-processing tool does not make TPTN the transportation provider, a party to the transportation agreement between the customer and provider, or the employer or agent of the provider. Payment-processing services may be subject to the payment processor's own terms and requirements.
Users are responsible for applicable taxes, fees, charges, or other financial obligations imposed upon them by law or by their own business operations.

11. CANCELLATIONS, DATE CHANGES, AND RESCHEDULING
TPTN Platform fees and transportation-provider cancellation policies are separate matters.
Transportation providers may establish their own cancellation and refund policies for transportation charges, subject to applicable law and any minimum Platform requirements adopted by TPTN.
The provider's applicable cancellation policy should be disclosed to the customer before the reservation is confirmed.
TPTN may establish its own cancellation, refund, or administrative-fee policies for fees charged by TPTN.
Those policies will be disclosed through the Platform or during the applicable transaction.
A customer requesting different transportation dates is not necessarily requesting cancellation.
Where possible, a customer may request that an existing reservation be rescheduled.
Rescheduling is subject to provider availability and confirmation and may result in price, route, or scheduling changes.
A transportation provider is not required to accept dates the provider cannot safely or reasonably accommodate.
If a transportation provider cancels or becomes unable to perform a confirmed transport, TPTN may attempt to help the customer locate another eligible provider.
TPTN does not guarantee that a replacement provider, equivalent price, or identical dates will be available.
The treatment of TPTN fees following a provider cancellation will be governed by the fee and cancellation policy disclosed for the transaction.

12. PROHIBITION ON CIRCUMVENTING PLATFORM FEES
During the time these Terms apply to a user and for a period of twenty-four (24) months after that user's TPTN account or Platform access ends, the user may not use TPTN primarily to identify, contact, or obtain information about another user and then intentionally move a transaction initiated through TPTN outside the Platform for the purpose of avoiding fees properly owed to TPTN.
Users may not:
   • Conceal a completed transaction in order to avoid TPTN fees;
   • Falsely report that a transportation request was cancelled when the parties proceeded with substantially the same transport;
   • Use Platform messaging to encourage another user to evade applicable TPTN fees; or
   • Manipulate booking records for the purpose of avoiding payment obligations.
TPTN may investigate suspected circumvention and may suspend accounts, restrict Platform access, or seek unpaid fees where appropriate.
TPTN may provide rebooking, favorite-provider, repeat-client, or similar tools intended to allow users to continue legitimate relationships through the Platform.
and advise whether a specific post-introduction time period should apply.

13. COMMUNICATIONS
TPTN may provide messaging, notifications, document exchange, status updates, email, text-message features, or other communication tools.
Users are responsible for communicating professionally and for providing accurate contact information.
Transportation providers may establish reasonable communication expectations during a transport.
Use of TPTN does not entitle a customer to continuous access to a driver while that driver is operating a vehicle, sleeping, caring for animals, handling an emergency, or otherwise unable to communicate safely.
Users may not use Platform communications to harass, threaten, intimidate, abuse, or unlawfully discriminate against another user.
TPTN may maintain records of communications made through Platform systems for customer service, safety, compliance, dispute handling, recordkeeping, and other legitimate Platform purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
Transactional communications relating to an account, request, reservation, safety issue, or Platform operation may be sent as reasonably necessary.
Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent requirements and the Privacy Policy.

14. LOCATION, GPS, AND TRANSPORT UPDATES
TPTN may offer GPS, location, route, status, or live-update features.
Such information is intended to provide useful transportation information and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a vehicle's precise real-time location, speed, route, arrival time, or operational status.
GPS and mapping information may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or affected by device settings, network coverage, third-party services, or other technical conditions.
A displayed route or location should not be used to direct or pressure a transportation provider to take an unsafe route, exceed safe driving limits, disregard weather, reduce required rest, or alter appropriate pet-care decisions.
TPTN's collection, use, retention, and sharing of location information will be further described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable location-consent notice.

15. DELAYS AND CHANGES DURING TRANSPORTATION
Pet transportation may be affected by events that cannot reasonably be predicted or controlled. These may include:
   • Weather;
   • Road closures;
   • Traffic;
   • Accidents;
   • Mechanical problems;
   • Veterinary emergencies;
   • Pet illness or behavior;
   • Government action;
   • Natural disasters;
   • Lodging availability;
   • Safety concerns;
   • Required rest;
   • Changes involving other animals on a shared transport; and
   • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Transportation providers are expected to prioritize safe operation and animal welfare over rigid adherence to estimated schedules.
Estimated pickup or delivery windows are not guarantees unless the provider expressly agrees otherwise.
TPTN is not responsible for reasonable transportation delays caused by matters outside TPTN's control or by independent operational decisions of the transportation provider.

16. SAFETY AND PROVIDER DECISION-MAKING
A transportation provider retains responsibility for operational safety during transportation.
A customer may provide information and reasonable instructions concerning the pet but may not require a transportation provider to take an action the provider reasonably believes is unsafe, unlawful, inconsistent with animal welfare, or outside the provider's professional capability.
A provider may delay transportation, seek appropriate professional assistance, or take other reasonable safety measures when circumstances warrant.
The provider's transportation agreement and emergency-care documentation govern the provider's specific authority concerning veterinary assessment, emergency care, and related expenses.
Nothing on the TPTN Platform should be interpreted as requiring a provider to disregard an immediate safety or animal welfare concern simply to maintain an estimated schedule.

17. EMERGENCY RESOURCES
TPTN may provide links, search tools, location-based resources, instructions, emergency contact information, or escalation features intended to help users locate appropriate assistance.
These tools are resources only.
TPTN is not:
   • An emergency medical service;
   • A veterinary hospital;
   • A veterinarian;
   • A police department;
   • A roadside-assistance provider;
   • A towing service;
   • A rescue service; or
   • A substitute for emergency professionals.
For an immediate threat to human life or safety, users should contact the appropriate emergency service. For a pet medical emergency, users should seek qualified veterinary assistance.
If TPTN later offers automated or human-assisted emergency intake or escalation tools, separate notices, procedures, and limitations may apply.
TPTN cannot guarantee the availability, response time, quality, or outcome of services provided by third parties identified through emergency-resource tools.

18. TPTN FORMS, TEMPLATES, AND DRIVER RESOURCES
TPTN may provide sample contracts, forms, checklists, policies, educational materials, and other customizable resources for transportation providers.
Such materials are provided as general resources and are not a substitute for independent legal, veterinary, accounting, insurance, regulatory, or other professional advice.
TPTN templates do not create a transportation contract between TPTN and the transportation provider's customer.
Transportation providers are responsible for reviewing, customizing, and determining whether a template is appropriate for their individual business and applicable law.
Where TPTN provides a template containing TPTN branding or identifying information, the transportation provider must follow the Template Notice & Disclaimer supplied with that resource, including any requirement to remove TPTN branding before using the form as the provider's own client document.
Use of a TPTN template does not mean that TPTN is a party to the resulting agreement.
The separate TPTN Template Notice & Disclaimer of Liability is incorporated into these Terms by reference where applicable.

19. TPTN ACADEMY AND EDUCATIONAL CONTENT
TPTN may provide training, educational materials, articles, courses, videos, checklists, operational examples, or other informational resources.
These resources are intended to promote education and professional development within the pet-transportation community.
Unless expressly identified otherwise, TPTN educational content does not constitute:
   • Legal advice;
   • Veterinary advice;
   • Medical advice;
   • Insurance advice;
   • Tax advice;
   • Regulatory approval; or
   • A guarantee that a particular action will be safe or legally compliant in every circumstance.
Providers remain responsible for applying professional judgment to actual transportation conditions.
Completion of a TPTN educational module does not create a professional license or government certification unless the Platform expressly identifies a particular credential as having been issued by an authorized third party.

20. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND AFFILIATE RELATIONSHIPS
TPTN may provide information or links concerning third-party products or services that may be useful to users.
Examples may include insurance, roadside assistance, background screening, motor vehicle records, pet first-aid education, equipment, lodging, vehicle services, transportation supplies, or other resources.
Some links may be affiliate or referral links.
TPTN may receive compensation, commissions, referral fees, or other benefits when a user purchases or obtains a product or service through certain links.
Material affiliate relationships will be disclosed as required.
Third-party providers are independent from TPTN unless expressly stated otherwise.
A link, listing, recommendation, or affiliate relationship does not make TPTN responsible for the third party's products, services, pricing, availability, representations, privacy practices, or performance.
Users should review the third party's own terms and policies before entering into a transaction.
Information concerning affiliate tracking, cookies, and related technologies will be addressed in the TPTN Privacy Policy and cookie notice.

21. REVIEWS, RATINGS, AND FEEDBACK
TPTN may permit users to submit reviews, ratings, comments, or other feedback concerning experiences on the Platform.
Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences and may not be knowingly false, fabricated, misleading, or submitted by persons who did not have the represented experience.
Users may not:
   • Buy or sell fake reviews;
   • Require a particular rating or sentiment in exchange for an incentive;
   • Submit reviews under false identities;
   • Manipulate review systems;
   • Threaten or improperly retaliate against a person for providing an honest review; or
   • Use reviews to harass, threaten, disclose protected personal information, or make unlawful statements.
TPTN may use reasonable measures to identify whether a review relates to a legitimate Platform interaction.
TPTN may remove or decline to publish content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
TPTN will not promise to remove an otherwise permitted review merely because a user disagrees with the reviewer's opinion.

22. USER CONTENT, PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AND DOCUMENTS
Users may be able to upload photographs, videos, documents, logos, profile information, pet information, transportation records, or other content.
Users retain ownership of content they own.
By uploading content to TPTN, a user grants TPTN a limited, nonexclusive license to store, process, reproduce, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, provide the requested service, maintain records, support users, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.
Users represent that they have the right to upload and use the content they provide.
Users may not upload:
   • Content that infringes intellectual-property rights;
   • Unlawfully obtained personal information;
   • Malicious software;
   • Fraudulent documents;
   • Illegal content; or
   • Content that violates these Terms.
Public or promotional use of identifiable customer or pet content outside the operational purposes of the Platform will be handled according to applicable permissions, Platform settings, and the Privacy Policy.

23. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Except for user-owned content and third-party materials, the TPTN Platform and its original content, design, branding, software, educational material, documentation, text, graphics, logos, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to TPTN and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Users may use TPTN materials only for purposes authorized by the Platform.
Users may not copy, resell, publish, distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from protected TPTN materials except as permitted by law or by written authorization.
Rights granted to transportation providers to customize particular forms or templates are limited to the permissions expressly provided with those resources.

24. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Users may not use TPTN to:
   • Commit fraud or misrepresentation;
   • Submit intentionally false pet, customer, driver, company, insurance, licensing, or qualification information;
   • Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another person;
   • Circumvent lawful Platform fees;
   • Manipulate reviews or ratings;
   • Gain unauthorized access to another user's account;
   • Interfere with Platform security or operation;
   • Introduce malicious code;
   • Scrape or harvest information without authorization;
   • Use another user's confidential information for an unauthorized purpose;
   • Conduct unlawful transportation activity;
   • Facilitate cruelty, neglect, or unlawful treatment of animals;
   • Misrepresent TPTN as the transportation provider;
   • Misrepresent a provider's relationship with TPTN;
   • Use TPTN branding without authorization; or
   • Engage in conduct that creates a material safety, legal, financial, or reputational risk to TPTN or other Platform users.

25. SUSPENSION, RESTRICTION, AND TERMINATION
TPTN may investigate suspected violations of these Terms.
TPTN may warn, restrict, suspend, deactivate, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to address matters including:
   • Fraud;
   • Materially false information;
   • Safety concerns;
   • Animal-welfare concerns;
   • Expired or invalid required documentation;
   • Loss of required insurance, licensing, or eligibility;
   • Serious or repeated customer complaints;
   • Harassment;
   • Platform manipulation;
   • Fee circumvention;
   • Unauthorized account access;
   • Misuse of personal information;
   • Violation of these Terms; or
   • Conduct creating material risk to users or TPTN.
Where appropriate and legally permissible, TPTN may request additional information before making a final eligibility determination.
TPTN may immediately restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect people, animals, users, data, or Platform security.
Termination of Platform access does not eliminate payment obligations or other responsibilities incurred before termination.

26. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Platform may integrate with or link to services operated by third parties.
TPTN does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee that they will remain available, accurate, secure, or suitable for a user's needs.
Use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
TPTN is not responsible for a third party's independent conduct merely because the service is linked from or integrated with the Platform.

27. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
TPTN strives to provide reliable Platform access but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may occasionally be unavailable because of:
   • Maintenance;
   • Software updates;
   • Internet outages;
   • Hosting failures;
   • Third-party service failures;
   • Security incidents;
   • Device limitations;
   • Events beyond TPTN's reasonable control; or
   • Other technical issues.
TPTN may change, improve, suspend, replace, or discontinue Platform features as the service develops.
Temporary Platform unavailability does not transfer responsibility for an active transport from the transportation provider to TPTN.
Transportation providers should maintain sufficient independent access to information reasonably necessary to safely complete transports they have accepted.

28. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
TPTN's collection, use, sharing, retention, and protection of personal information is governed by the TPTN Privacy Policy and any additional consent or disclosure required for particular features.
The Privacy Policy will address matters including, as applicable:
   • Account information;
   • Contact information;
   • Transportation records;
   • Pet information;
   • Driver and business information;
   • Uploaded documents;
   • Location or GPS data;
   • Cookies and similar technologies;
   • Affiliate tracking;
   • Third-party service providers;
   • Data retention;
   • User privacy rights; and
   • Account or data requests.
By using the Platform, users acknowledge that information necessary to facilitate a transportation request may need to be shared with the parties involved in that request.
Users must not misuse personal information obtained through the Platform.

29. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
Information provided through TPTN is intended for general informational, educational, administrative, or operational purposes.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, TPTN does not provide legal, veterinary, medical, tax, accounting, insurance, or regulatory advice.
Users should consult qualified professionals concerning matters requiring professional advice.

30. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. TPTN does not guarantee:
   • That transportation will be available for every request;
   • That a particular provider will accept a request;
   • That estimated dates or times will be achieved;
   • That third-party services will be available;
   • That Platform information will always be error-free or uninterrupted;
   • The future conduct of any user;
   • The outcome of a transportation service; or
   • That a provider is appropriate for every customer or pet.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

31. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Transportation providers are independently responsible for the transportation services they perform.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TPTN will not be responsible for losses arising solely from the independent acts or omissions of a transportation provider, customer, corporate user, third-party service provider, or other independent Platform user.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TPTN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

32. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user agrees to indemnify and hold TPTN, The Pet Transport Network, LLC, and its owners, members, officers, employees, and authorized representatives harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, or reasonable expenses arising from that user's:
   • Material violation of these Terms;
   • Fraud or intentional misconduct;
   • Violation of law;
   • Unauthorized use of another person's information;
   • Infringement of third-party intellectual-property rights; or
   • Transportation services performed by that user, if the user is a transportation provider.

33. DISPUTES BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS
Customers and transportation providers should first attempt to address disputes concerning transportation services directly with one another.
TPTN may provide records, communication tools, customer-support assistance, or other administrative support when appropriate.
TPTN's assistance with a dispute does not make TPTN a party to the transportation contract and does not require TPTN to adjudicate the dispute.
Nothing prevents TPTN from enforcing its own Platform rules, fees, account standards, or safety requirements.

34. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms, and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, TPTN's fees, user accounts, Platform communications, Platform content, TPTN's role in facilitating connections or payment, or any user's relationship with The Pet Transport Network, LLC, are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require application of another jurisdiction's law.
Before either you or The Pet Transport Network, LLC initiates any court action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform, the party asserting the dispute must first provide written notice of the claim to the other party in the manner required by these Terms or otherwise accepted by the receiving party.
The notice must reasonably identify the nature of the dispute and the relief requested.
You and The Pet Transport Network, LLC will have sixty (60) days from the date the receiving party receives the notice to attempt to resolve the claim informally and avoid the need for further action. During that sixty (60)-day period, either you or The Pet Transport Network, LLC may request an individualized discussion by telephone or videoconference regarding resolution of the dispute ("Informal Settlement Discussion"). If either party requests an Informal Settlement Discussion, you and a representative of The Pet Transport Network, LLC must personally participate in the discussion in a good-faith effort to resolve only the dispute between you and The Pet Transport Network, LLC. If you are represented by counsel, your counsel may participate in the Informal Settlement Discussion, but you must also personally participate.
Except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise, completion of the informal dispute-resolution process described above is a condition precedent to either party initiating a court action against the other concerning a claim covered by this section. This requirement does not prevent The Pet Transport Network, LLC from seeking temporary, preliminary, or permanent injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to protect its intellectual property, confidential information, Platform operations, users, animals, data, security, or other rights requiring immediate protection.
Except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise, each user irrevocably agrees that any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or the user's relationship with The Pet Transport Network, LLC must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in or serving Mathews County, Virginia, or, if federal subject-matter jurisdiction exists, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia serving Mathews County, Virginia. Each user irrevocably submits to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waives any objection to jurisdiction, venue, or inconvenient forum in those courts.
This section governs disputes involving The Pet Transport Network, LLC and the Platform. Disputes between a customer and an independent transportation provider concerning the actual transportation service remain governed by the separate agreement between those parties, except to the extent the dispute also involves The Pet Transport Network, LLC, the Platform, TPTN's fees, or these Terms. Nothing in this section requires The Pet Transport Network, LLC to adjudicate, mediate, or resolve disputes solely between customers and independent transportation providers.

35. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
TPTN may update these Terms as the Platform, law, technology, or business operations change.
When changes are material, TPTN will provide notice through reasonable means, which may include an account notice, Platform notice, email, or updated effective date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
Continued use of the Platform after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
If a user does not agree to materially revised Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Platform.

36. SEVERABILITY
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Any invalid or unenforceable provision should be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.

37. NO WAIVER
TPTN's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision or another provision in the future.

38. ENTIRE AGREEMENT AND ADDITIONAL POLICIES
These Terms, together with the TPTN Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the general agreement governing use of the Platform.
Certain services, transactions, programs, or resources may be governed by additional terms.
Transportation providers may also maintain their own separate contracts with customers for the actual transportation service.
If a provider's customer contract conflicts with these Terms regarding use of the TPTN Platform, these Terms govern the Platform relationship.
The provider's contract governs the independent transportation service to the extent permitted by law.
The agreement governing the actual pet-transportation service is a contract between the independent transportation provider (the driver) and the pet parent or other customer. TPTN's Terms govern only the use of the Platform and TPTN's role in facilitating the connection between the driver and the pet parent and in facilitating payment for the transportation service.
TPTN is not a party to, and assumes no obligations or liability under, the transportation agreement between the driver and the pet parent, and is not the transportation provider or an employer or agent of the driver.

39. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE AND RECORDS
Users may be required to accept agreements, provide acknowledgments, complete forms, or sign records electronically.
Electronic acceptance may have the same effect as a handwritten signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Users are responsible for reviewing documents before electronically accepting them and for maintaining copies of documents they wish to retain.
TPTN may maintain electronic records relating to transactions and acceptance as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
